The blue-black coalition negotiations in the federal government finally failed on Wednesday. Tirol’s governor Anton Mattle (ÖVP) immediately campaigned for the resumption of the negotiations between the ÖVP, Spö and Neos, but without SP boss Andreas Babler. This requirement caused violent reactions – even from Mattle.
After the coalition negotiations fail, there are various ideas about how to proceed. As is known, Mattle came up with a triple coalition of ÖVP, Spö and Neos on Wednesday, but only without Spö Boss Andreas Babler.
“Only the Spö”
Mattle would rather have if the songs “take a step aside”. In this way the open points of the three negotiations could be resolved. This is of little love with the social democrats.
The Spö Boss and Mattles LHSTV of the Tyrol were the first to formulate. Philip Wohlgemuth: “The Spö staff is the only thing for the Spö.”
Violent criticism from the former coalition partner
Mattles the reaction of the former coalition partner much more violent – the Tyrolean Greens. Club chairman and spokesperson for the state Bi Mair: “It is really hard to believe. The ÖVP fails for the second time in a short time to bring about a coalition and in the next breathing the Tyrolean gouverneur Anton Mattle has nothing better than organizing another party that must be part of the negotiations. All this smells very strong after a continuation of this smear theater. The seriousness of the situation was still not included in the people’s festival.
Mair and De Groenen are “happy” that Austria has been spared a “right -wing extremist Chancellor”.
