The director of Gogora, Alberto Alonso, has appeared in the accompanying committee of the Basque Parliament, where he remembered the strategic lines that were approved in the Gogora board on 5 March and explained the most important specific work areas that will stimulate this year.
Among other things, he remembered initiatives that Gogoras wish to promote a day of the historical and democratic memory of Euskadi, as well as the organization of his commemoration.
Sources of this entity have explained that dates are sought that do not have war connectations and that correspond to important facts because of their positive character.
The intention is to propose four dates to agree with the Basque Parliament, including the sources itself on October 7, the day on which the first Basque government was formed, and on October 1, when the first status of Basque autonomy was approved, in both cases in 1936.
Alonso also explained that Gogora and the UPV/EHU conduct a biographical study of all those people who were part, aimed at the Vice Counts and directors.
