Much is different in the government of US President Donald Trump also the cabinet sessions that should at most be transparent. But they especially show one thing: it is not possible without praise and tribute to the president.
For the press, Trump calls for one cabinet member after another at an oval table in the White House and reports: and almost everyone starts his report with a flattery. Tech billionaire Elon Musk, for example, who does not wear a government office, but is sitting at the table, his report on the latest cuts begins with the words “thanks to their fantastic leadership”.
Minister of Homeland Protection Kristi calls the small number of new migrants with the words: “Mr. President, thanks for your leadership on the border”. Trump, who likes to praise himself, usually accepts the effort with a smile and sometimes praises – for example: “Great work, Kristi”. Minister of Agriculture Brooke Rollins acknowledges the coherence of the cabinet, which has become a family. The mutual appreciation and respect for each other are “a reflection of them and their leadership”.
“They want Americans because of their agenda”
Minister of Justice Pam Bondi is part of the boss: “You were chosen by an overwhelming majority, the Americans wanted her because of her agenda as president.” The head of the small companies department, Kelly Loeffler, who can also sit at the cabinet table, is also full of praise: “Mr. President, on behalf of the American manufacturers, I want to thank you for your forehead (…).”
In social media, the cabinet sessions are described as “collapse”, ie embarrassing, as reported by the “Huffington Post”. The online newspaper quoted the former Republican MP Joe Walsh on X (formerly Twitter): “This is so damn disgusting. It is a cult.”
Comedian: Trump needs this for self -respect
The comedian of the late night Seth Meyers said that after the exhibition allowance, Trump “strengthened his self -esteem” because of his irregular customs policy and his cabinet, called together for “ritual craving for the lips and pillow cushion”.
Tommy Vietor, a Press spokesperson for President Barack Obama and Podcaster, speaks of a session as in the authoritarian North Korea. Everyone should see these cupboard meetings. They are a “humiliation for all involved”.
Mock on social media
The online portal “NJ.com” asked which cabinet member Trump paid the most tribute and referred to the tweet of political scientist Norman Jay Ornstein. He wrote on X, Minister of Agriculture Rollins earned gold for her cat hump.
