US President Donald Trump locates “a pretty big concession” of the Kremlin and is convinced that his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin “will listen to him and that the attacks on Ukraine” will “listen to him”.
After high -ranking US government agents had threatened to withdraw from their country from the brokerage efforts, Trump was not stabilized on Thursday. According to him, he left it open to reporters. “I have my own deadline,” he said. The 78-year-old, however, said that there could soon be a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine. “We want to end this war, we want to end it quickly. And I think we have made great progress and we will see what will happen in the coming days because there will be very important meetings,” said Republican on the sidelines of a meeting with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre.
When asked if he believes that Putin will listen to him, Trump replied with “yes” without Greater ADO. After all, Moscow had already made “a pretty big concession” – namely “to end the war and not to take the whole country,” Trump said.
The Russian army has checked about one fifth of the neighboring country since the invasion of Ukraine – a share that has changed little despite the continuous fighting in three years of war. So there is nothing that indicates that the Russian troops can currently take on Ukraine.
He assumes that Kremlin chef Putin wanted to close a deal. But two were always from the tango, Trump went on. He was convinced that Ukraine also has an agreement. Trump did not answer questions about details of a possible arrival.
Kremlin spokesperson: “Ukrainians must withdraw”
According to spokesperson for Kremlin, Dmitri Peskow, Russia is ready for a truce and peace agreement with Ukraine when Kiev delivers entirely with the areas that are annexed by Moscow. “There are four regions in our Constitution. The Ukrainian army must put down its weapons and withdraw. If this does, the military operations will be hired immediately,” Peskow said in the interview of the French news magazine “Le Point”.
It is about the regions of Luhansk, Donetsk, Saporischschja and Herson, which are partially occupied by Russia. The position of the Kremlin speaker is in contradiction with reports about an offer from Russia to freeze the front line in the attack war against Ukraine without Russia getting full control over the four regions.
