Blue and the greens agree – that happens to a maximum of every few years. But on Sunday evening representatives of The Blue and The Greens were surprisingly the same review in the TV election studio of “Krone” and Puls 24 in the town hall of the Federal Capital: “The Viennese chose for change.” Aha.
That would be a lot not to say: almost everything.
Yes, it is true that the FPö almost tripled compared to its Ramp 2020 in these municipal elections on Sunday. However, she has hardly reached more than half of the voices of the Spö. And if the Greens are almost stable at a high level – then it is not exactly an urgent desire for change.
In reality, the Viennese are clearly left-liberal on the one hand, and on the other hand clearly conservative-what their election behavior concerns.
Because they eventually voted almost the same as five years ago. If you add the voices of the camps, almost nothing changed between 2020 and 2025 – there were only shifts in the camp. In both election groups, the red-green-liberal camp reached around two-thirds, the third third.
No, the voters wanted something different than change this Sunday. You want stability. Probably someone’s request.
