According to the elections, the Prime Minister of Poland now wants to put a matter of trust

Date:

The victory of presidential candidate Karol Nawrocki in Poland is putting pressure on the pro -European government of Donald Tusk. He will soon put the issue of trust in parliament, Tusk said in a speech on Polish television.

The plan for acting his government among the new president will need “unity and courage” of the Triple Coalition. The vote of trust should be a first test for this.

“Red Card for Tusk Government”
During the Runoff elections around the Polish presidential office on Sunday, the Liberal Rafal Trzaskowski from the Tusk Warehouse was closely inferior to Nawrocki supported by the right -wing conservative piss. This is also a heavy slump for the head of the government. Pis boss Jaroslaw Kaczynski said that the result of the presidential elections was the “red card” for Tusk’s government. This should be donated.

Since the end of 2023, Tusk has been running a center left alliance of three parties. It is the most important project in his government to reverse the damage to the rule of law, which the PIS government was activated, which was in office from 2015 to 2023, with its judicial reform. The sitting President Andrzej Duda, who comes from the ranks of the PIs, has so far blocked the corresponding version. Nawrocki is expected to do this and possibly even continue with greater hardness. This could rub the coalition and release centrifugal forces.

Tusk: will not withdraw a step
“In accordance with the Constitution and our conscience, we will collaborate with the new president where this is necessary and possible,” says Tusk. At the same time, he emphasized: “Everyone will see that the government is not even going to take a step back.”

Poland: Head of State is powerful
In Poland, the head of state has more powers than the president in many European countries. It not only represents the country for the outside world. The president also has an impact on foreign policy, he mentions the head of the government and the cabinet and is a high commander of the Polish forces in the case of war. Above all, he can make life difficult with his vetowet of the government. To abolish the Veto of the President, a majority of 60 percent of MPs are required in parliament, which the Center-Link alliance of Tusk does not have.
