A new study on behalf of the “Krone” offers surprising results: for Austrian conditions, people are quite satisfied with the performance of ÖVP, Spö and Neos. However, another party remains the leader …
Who would have thought that after the national elections at the end of September 2024 after the elections of the National Council? For the first time there is a triple coalition – especially in the economic area – very different parties, and this is not only stable, but is also fairly well received by the population.
At least the current data of a representative “crown” research made by the Institute for Demoscopy and Data Analysis (IFDD), show: According to this, 46 percent of the 1250 respondents are satisfied with the performance of ÖVP, Spö and Neos.
Even more remarkable: about 60 percent believe that this Construct, which is classified as a fragile from the start, will be created in very volatile times, the entire legislative period of five years.
Chancellor is convinced of sustainability
The same has also been communicated by the party groups in recent days on the occasion of the three -day trio. They try to prevent turbulence and contradictions and to show themselves calmly. Also considering savings packages and EU deficiency procedures.
ÖVP Chancellor Christian Stocker, for example, praised the collaboration with the Reds and Pinken at Krone.tv this week and said, “This government will take five years.” And: “I came to stay.”
In the meantime, the coalition does not accept that the opposition parties – especially the FPö under Herbert Kickl – see differently or have other wishes. The classic Sunday question also results in interesting findings.
So: “Who would you currently vote for the elections of the National Council?”
The FPö would still be far ahead – about about 32 percentWith a certain fluctuation width (almost 29 kickls, blue achieved in the elections on September 29, 2024). The ÖVP under Stocker would lose and would rise 24 percent (26 in the elections under Karl Nehammer). The spö would only come 19 percent (still 21 percent in the fall). According to Christoph Haselmayer of the IFDD, the Greens would just overtake the Neos with 11: 10
Spö as the forced manager of the Republic
“The satisfaction and trust of the population with and in the coalition can also be explained by the fact that three parties are now being collected for the first time,” says Haselmayer, who also explains reasons for the crash of the social democrats up to less than 20 percent. “The pressure pressure not only makes the Red Finance minister, but the Spö generally the forced manager of the Republic.”
This is always necessary. You don’t make yourself popular with it. Especially not as a left party. Nache: “Even the media of Finance Minister Markus Marterbauer, who is so much a media, apparently cannot stabilize the Babler-Spö.”
