Justice Minister Alma Zadic (Greens) tested positive for Covid-19 on Wednesday morning using an antigen test and is now waiting for the results of a PCR test.
The minister is in self-isolation and is working from home for the time being, her office announced via broadcast. Just two days ago, Vice Chancellor Werner Kogler (Greens) tested positive.
Meeting with the Ukrainian ambassador
Kogler was due to meet with German Vice-Chancellor and Economics Minister Robert Habeck on Tuesday, but had to cancel due to his corona infection. Zadic met with Ukrainian ambassador Vasyl Chymynez in Vienna on Tuesday. Zadic promised Austria “comprehensive support” in investigating war crimes in the war in Ukraine.
