Gradually reducing partial pension by 2029
At the same time, the previous partial retirement is gradually reduced to the gang pension or before the regular costual is reduced to a maximum of three years (now five) before the claim requirements are met. In 2026 there is still the possibility for 4.5 years, in 2027 for four years and 2028 for 3.5 years.
A man without a claim in the corridor can only be partially pension at the age of 62 in 2029. The block time variant, which also runs until 2029, remains unchanged.
Savings in the reach of three digital million
In the Ministry of Social Affairs, savings are also hoped for a pleasant side effect in budgetary difficult times. In the first year, the partial council expects an amount of 197 million, in the second of 402 million. The savings potential for the reform of partial retirement is considerably lower. In 2026, 59 million hope hoped for 89 million the following year.
