Ministry reported: – still a sharp fall in asylum applications

Date:

Fewer asylum applications, fewer people in basic care and less and less accommodation. The last list of the Ministry of the Interior shows a decrease in various asylum statistics – and the Minister of the Interior is therefore satisfied.

In total, asylum applications were made in Austria in May 1443. “However, more than 50 percent of them are not new applications – but especially the following applications – such as Afghan women,” reports the Ministry of the Interior. This is satisfied with the developments. In comparison with May of the previous year, the decrease is at least 1064 applications or 42 percent. In particular, the suspension of asylum applications and the initiation of revaluation procedures, according to the case of the Assad regime in Syria, had also had an effect because the figures had broken particularly hard for the Syrians.

“De consistente benadering van illegale migratie, de opschorting van de zijrivier van de familie voor asielzoekers en ook de implementatie van het niet -cash -voordeel heeft geleid tot een aanzienlijke verlichting op dit gebied. Dit bespaart geld en maakt investeringen mogelijk in de beveiliging. Deze massale achteruitgang is moeilijk om aan deze richting te werken,” zei binnenste minister Gerhard Gerhard Gerhard Gerhard Gerhard Gerhard Gerhard Gerhard Gerhard Gerhard Gerhard Gerhard Gerhard Gerhard Gerhard Gerhard Gerhard Gerhard Gerhard Gerhard Gerhard Gerhard Gerhard Gerhard Gerhard Gerhard Gerhard Gerhard Gerhard Gerhard Gerhard, the most pronounced that there is more and more federal state. Less and less necessary
According to the ministry, a total of 60,989 people currently have in basic care (federal care for 1016 people). These figures have been greatly reduced in the last two years. For comparison: at the beginning of 2023, nearly 93,000 people were still in basic care. The number of federal quarters in Austria was accordingly reduced in this period – from more than 30 to currently 8.
