At least 18 people were injured in Ukrainian drone attacks in the Russian regions of Lipezz, Brjansk and Woronech on Tuesday evening. Moreover, houses and other buildings were damaged.
According to the governors, 16 people were injured in the Woronech region only on the border with Ukraine, including a teenager. The Russian air defense destroyed twelve drones there.
In the Border Region of Brjansk, a woman was injured in a drone attack on a village. In the city of Jelez in the southwestern region of Lipezzk, a drone crashed into an industrial area. A person was injured.
Lipezzk in sight
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that air defense had destroyed a total of 55 Ukrainian drones over five Russian regions and the Black Sea during the night, including three above the Lipezz region. Initially there was no opinion about Ukraine about the attacks. Both parties deny to focus citizens in their attacks.
Thousands of civilians, however, died in the war that Russia started against Ukraine more than three years ago, most of them. KYIV has already flown air strikes on lipezk several times. The region is considered strategically important and houses an air force base that is an important training center.
