Recalling that the street Correo de Bilbao, very close to the place where Saturday’s event took place, was first waved the ikurriña on July 14, 1894, Arrizabalaga emphasized that, years later, “here the PNV continues; here we continue with his wives and men”.

Day after day, without haste, but without pause, working We do it with respect, without impositions, because a country is not built by putting one flag or another on a mast; a country is built out of respect for the will of the people,” he warned.

In this way, it has chosen to “reach a social community that feels identified and represented in some institutions”, within a project that advances “in conscience and will”. “In democracy and in decision-making. Building community, adding new Basque men and women who feel these colors of the ikurriña as their own,” he declared.
