Cincinnati (USA), August 19 (EFE).- American Madison Keys defeated Kazakh Elena Rybakina, Wimbledon champion, on Friday and became the first semifinalist of the Cincinnati tournament.
After knocking out world No. 1 Iga Swiatek of Poland in the round of 16, Keys needed an hour and 31 minutes to defeat Rybakina 6-2, 6-4.
