Christian Tello latest arrival on the MLS. After breaking ties with Betis, the Sabadell winger has agreed to play for Gareth Bale’s LAFC and Carlos Vela.
As MD found out, the player’s representative, Josep María Orobitg, is already preparing for the landing of the Catalan footballer, which could take place this week.
Like Bale, Tello will come to the North American team with a letter of independence after being released on June 30 and signing for three and a half years. The Welshman ended his contract with Real Madrid and headed to the United States to continue his sports career.
Olympiacos seems the most likely destination for Tello, who finally chose to accept an offer from LAFC, rival citizens of Riqui Puig’s LA Galaxy.
Tello played for the last five seasons at Real Betis, where he arrived transferred by FC Barcelona in the summer of 2017 for 4 million euros, (for 50% of the pass) after two assignments at Porto and Fiorentina, and last campaign he played 34 games, scoring 5 goals and providing 3 assists.
