There are already departure times for Spanish Open at Madrid Country Club and how else could a trio of players monopolize the attention Thursday and Friday.
Number 6 in the world, double Open champion Jon Rahm and in his first appearance in our country in a year he is once again the center of attention. The Basque will play this Thursday morning (9:30, Hole 10) and Friday afternoon (2:00 pm, Hole 1) . He will do it with a friend Adri Arnaus and Min Woo Lee. All in Movistar Golf and Teledepprte.
Arnaus arrives wanting revenge. In 2021 only Rafa Cabrera was able to deprive him of the victory after defeating the Catalan in a playoff. Adri won his first title in May, the Catalunya Championship at the Caldes de Malavella PGA.
The other big match that stands out from the rest is the defending champion, Rafael Cabrerawho will play next door Tommy Fleetwood, the star debuts this year at the Spanish Open. They start exactly opposite Rahm’s match, on Thursday at 2:00 pm for hole 1 and in the morning on Friday (9:30 am, hole 10).
