The Muleño athlete Mohamed Katir won yesterday in the XXVII Costa de Ajo popular race, a test held in the Cantabrian city of Bareyo. Katir ran the 6.2 kilometers of the race in 18:26, beating Jesús Gómez of Burgos with 18:37, who had won the Zamora mile on Saturday afternoon, in which the man from Muleño also participated, in third. Pereira, based in Galicia, was also a favorite and didn’t fail either.
