Real Madrid has won the Madrid City Council in court in the case it has in the consistory for the IBI of valdebebas of the years 2016 and 2017. This was stated by El Periódico de España, explaining that the Ninth Section of the Contentious-Administrative Chamber of the TSJM annulled the agreement made by the City Council with Real Madrid worth 3,542,740 euros.

The origin of this dispute dates back to the years 2014 and 2016, when some improvements to Real Madrid City were registered in the Cadastre. In 2014, the construction of the first team’s accommodation, a quarry and a water tank was registered. In 2016, they were the basketball pavilion, two soccer fields and a surface car park.
With these actions, the cadastral value increased to 226,250,150 euros. An assessment that Real Madrid appealed to the Regional Economic-Administrative Court of Madrid, which partially upheld Madrid’s claim and pending the latest decision of the Central Economic-Administrative Court.
As explained by El Periódico de España, according to the sentences. “The Council of the City of Madrid “did not comply with the obligation” to carry out a resolution taken by the Regional Economic Administrative Court of Madrid in 2018. In the same sense, they affirm that the Council of the City of Madrid cannot be kept in force liquidations, which in 2016 were 1,665,768 euros and in 2017 of 1,876,971 euros”.
