The Moroccan Football Federation has decided to lodge a formal complaint with FIFA for the performance of Mexican referee César Santos in the semifinal match between the African team and France, which ended in a 2-0 French victory.
According to footmercato, the Moroccan delegation claimed two penalties in the first half. The first was committed by Théo Hernández at Boufal in an action that ended in a yellow card for the Moroccan international and the second, for a kick on Selim Amallah that did not result in any foul.
Footmercato, citing sources from the Moroccan Federation, pointed out that from the African football organization they know few, if not zero, chances of their complaint progressing, considering that the final between Argentina and France are played this Sunday.
