This past Thursday, as we expected in this newspaper, a new meeting took place for the future collective agreement between the F League as representative of the clubs and unions present in the negotiations: AFE; Futpro, Futbolistas On, Workers Commissions and UGT.
In said meeting, nothing could be advanced, as happened in the previous two, because the clubs made it clear again that until the arbitration receipt conflict is resolved, they cannot put a figure on the table. Two messages were transferred to the unions. On the one hand, CSD has a commitment to solve this. And on the other hand, League F also promised to present a minimum wage proposal at the next meeting, scheduled for January 18.
Such a proposal is always far from the 50,000 euros minimum salary proposed by FUTPRO and that cannot be realized because it would be death for the five independent clubs. Almost all parties at the negotiating table are now in agreement.
Gradual growth parallel to competition
What has begun to be raised, and which is a proposal that may be on the table at the next meeting, is a gradual increase in this minimum wage. The growth is higher than that set by the IPC and that will be done in tandem with the growth of the competition itself within the forecast of improvement in all aspects of a league that has just started.
This month will be key if this time the CSD resolves the arbitration receipt dispute that allows the F League to present a specific salary proposal for soccer players that means making certain step to design the second collective agreement in the history of soccer.women
