Mendizorrotza will serve tonight as the framework for the celebration of the women’s international meeting between Euskal Selekzioa and Chile. The clash between the two teams is scheduled at 7:00 pm. This meeting will serve as the presentation of Juanjo Arregi as the new technical director of Tricolor.
The Basque coach called up goalkeepers Amaia Peña (Athletic) and Maitane Zalba (Osasuna) for this clash; defense Nerea Nevado (Athletic), Ane Etxezarreta (Real), Iraia iparragirre (Real), Urruzola (Osasuna) and Gastearena (Granada); midfielders Leire Baños (Levante), Nerea Eizagirre (Real Sociedad), Jone Ibáñez (Eibar), Arene Altonaga (Eibar) and Maite Zubieta (Athletic); and forward Amaiur Sarriegi (Real), Patricia Zugasti (Osasuna), Maitane Vilariño (Osasuna), Marta San Adrián (Alavés), Cecilia Marcos (Real) and Ane Miren Martínez (Alavés). The women’s Euskal Selekzioa has not competed since March 2021 when the Basque Country International was awarded.
