David De Gea had very little work in today’s Premier League game as Manchester United beat Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford (3-0). But the Madrid goalkeeper was again insurance under the ‘Red Devils’ sticks on several occasions when he intervened and even allowed himself to make an extraordinary save.

});
It was minute 32 of the first half, with the score 2-0, when Nottingham scored for the first time. Ryan Yates did so with a whiplash from outside the area to which De Gea responded with an intervention that was astonishingly effective.
Instead of diving to clear the ball for a corner with his hands, well placed, De Gea responded by pushing it away from his chest. A stop that is not defined by a name in the soccer dictionary.
