Salazar wins the charity derby against Real Murcia

Date:

Jorge Romero’s team took the game with a lone goal from Isra Salazar

The game started with red dominance, with a squad full of substitutes where Pedro León, Armando Ortiz, Andrés Carrasco, Manu Pedre, Arnau Ortiz and Miguel Serna scored.

The first attacks came from the wing and focused attention on young winger Toral, who got along well with Arnau Ortiz. On the other hand, Pedro León compromised the university defence, where Yasser started at centre-back and Pedro Torres covered at left-back. UCAM CF in turn opted for direct play looking for long balls to Chuma and Salazar.

Zorro, Torres (Vicente, 62′), Jiménez (Ivorra., 62′), Lara (J. Ramírez, 45′), Fita (Marín, 45′), Yasser (Abenza, 45′), Mayo (Pedrosa, 62 ‘), Ramírez, Salazar (Gutiérrez, 45′, Fita, 80′), Cano (Camacho, 45′, Lozano, 75′) and Chuma (Chumbi, 45’)

Serna (Gallego, 45′), Jaime, Pedre, Junior (Navarro, 75′), Lilu, Armando (Spinman, 75′), López A. (Totti, 56′), Arnau (Gladison, 75′), Pedro León (López O., 69′), Toral (Botía, 56′) and Carrasco (García, 64′)

After twenty minutes, Real Murcia had another clear shot, with a low pass from Pedro León looking for Carrasco to knock Yasser out by throwing himself to the ground.

Simón’s team had it again, with a right-side play that Carrasco eventually received to put it up against Arnau Ortiz, but the Catalan’s kick ended it under Zorro. The answer came from Manu Ramírez, who started from the right wing and not as a midfielder, but his shot went high over. Jorge Romero tested a defense of three, with Diego Jiménez on the right and Fran Lara alternating behind and in midfield.

The one who finally refined the goal, however, was UCAM half an hour into the match, with a perfect pass between the lines from Samu Mayo to Isra Salazar, who shot the ball over Serna to make it 1-0.

Immediately after, Toral tried to respond, with an individual move that raised the red fans, but the shot after the cut was centered and Zorro worked his way off without a hitch. And clearer was the next one from Pedro León, who crashed into the woods with a shoe from the inside. Then Toral tried again before the break, albeit without danger.

The second half started with more balance, without much danger. It was a ten minute wait for a low shot from Alfredo Gutiérrez, which Antonio Gallego saved without any problem, to see some action. With the arrival of youth team Botía, Mario Simón gained more presence in three quarters of the field. On the university side, Pito Camacho made his debut, the latest addition to AD Ceuta’s Católica team.

In a tighter second half and with a carousel of substitutions, the first granas arrival was from the young Ángel García, who came in for Carrasco, but his shot went wide against Zorro.

The negative note came from Alfredo Gutiérrez, who had to stop on a stretcher after a collision with Spinman.

A Botía free kick that hit the wall and an Ángel García goal that was already behind were the highlights of a match where the result counted the least.

For the second year in a row, the two best football clubs in the capital Segura put aside their rivalry for a good cause: to raise money to help those most in need. Next week, back to the official game.
