Mendy found ‘not guilty’

Footballer of Manchester City Benjamin Mendy is revealed innocent of six cases of rape and one of sexual assault, as ruled this Friday by the court in Chester (England).

However, the jury has yet to reach a verdict on one count of rape and one count of attempted rape, leaving open the possibility that those charges try again in a new process.

Mendy, great 28 years, this is suspended by Manchester City in August 2021, when the charges became known, and the footballer himself pleaded not guilty to the charges in May 2022. According to Mendy’s words at trial, the accusations will haunt you “for life”, his football life was “over” and this situation had become “absolute hell”.

The accusations pointed out that Mendy was a “predatory“who knows women in nightclubs in manchester before inviting them to private parties at his Cheshire mansion, where the attacks take place.

After being released under investigation, before being accused by another woman of sexual assault. When he got bail, three other women accused him of rape, including a 17-year-old.
