Juventus meet Fiorentina and play in the final against Inter (2-0)

Date:

Juventus have fulfilled predictions against Fiorentina and will play their third consecutive Coppa final, this time against Inter on May 11 in Rome. The ‘bianconeri’ came with the advantage in the first leg in Florence thanks to their own goal from Venuti and in the second leg they did not initiate the return of ‘viola’ and sealed their pass with a goal from Bernardeschi and another from to Danilo.

Fiorentina did not give up on trying to surprise Turin, but their match lacked precision and little luck to get Juve, who were comfortable in almost every match, in real trouble.

The ‘viola’ team started out strong and from the very beginning they gave the ‘bianconeri’ a big bang. Torreira was able to shoot on goal, but his teammate Cabral blocked the goal at the goal line by failing to get away in time. The referee, too, pointed out a previous foul on Perin, so the goal didn’t rise to the scoreboard either.

Gradually, Juventus leveled off the intensity and took control of the game. Allegri’s staff grew and hit the final blow, taking advantage of a gift from goalkeeper Dragowski, who was poorly sized on his exit and gave Bernardeschi a 1-0 (32 ‘) lead.

Fiore rallied again after the break, but he never beat Juve or Perin who stretched to divert a header from Martínez Quarta, in what was the clearest chance for the team coached by Vincenzo Italiano.

Juventus ’sentence would come at a discount, when Danilo put up the final 2-0, signing the pass to the final.
