The Spanish Cycling Federation (RFEC) has signed an agreement with its counterparts Italy and France for the exchange of commissioners in official competitions determined by mutual agreement Technical committees of referees of three countries.
This cooperation agreement stems from the interest of the three federations in promoting the transfer of knowledge and skills of their respective Referees Technical Committeesas well as the exchange of experiences and initiatives for the promotion of this activity.
In addition, with the agreement and approval of three great tours –Giro d’Italia, Tour de France and Vuelta España– Starting with the current season of 2023, an annual exchange of a commissioner on a rotating basis is established. There will be spanish commissioner in the Tour de France, a french commissioner in the Giro d’Italia and a Italian commissioner at the Vuelta España.
Naa season 2024 there will be a Spanish commissioner at the Giro d’Italia, a French commissioner at the Vuelta España and an Italian commissioner at the Tour de France.
And so, following this order, this exchange will be carried out in successive years, managing its coordination and implementation by the respective Technical Committees of National Referees.
