This Saturday, March 11, the CEM Mundet of Barcelona will host a top-level event with the national champion Christopher Lorente as a great headliner in a rivalry that promises intense emotions against Andoni Gago. All this, in a night organized by the promoter Barcelona Boxing Nights where the fighters will fight for the vacant European Union featherweight title.
It is a battle that represents a clash of generations. On the one hand, there will be undefeated 26-year-old Cristóbal Lorente (15-0-1, and 7 KOs)and on the other hand, the indomitable Basque boxer Andoni Gago, 37 years old (26-5-4, 7 KOs). Both will be looking for the European Union featherweight title, a crown they have worn five Spaniards in their last 10 champions: Carlos Ramos, Jesús Sánchez, Andoni Gago, Marc Vidal and Ruddy Encarnación.
For his part, Carlos Lamela (4-3, 1 KO) will be measured in Ricardo Luis (1-2 1 KO) up to six rounds in a light heavyweight fight. Victor Hurtado will fight Borja Gorricho in super light, four rounds.
