Real Madrid became one of the main protagonists of the XLII Sports Gala 2023 held at the Camilo Cano pavilion in La Nucía (Murcia). The white club, with a large representation, was awarded for the Champions League won last season in Paris against Liverpool after coming back from PSG, Chelsea and Manchester City in the previous rounds.
The ceremony, organized by the Spanish Sports Press Association, was attended by José Antonio Camacho, Pedja Mijatovic, Antonio Ruiz, Paco Buyo and Roberto Carlos, ambassador of Real Madrid, who took the stage to collect the award for the Liga and final Champions League .
Other winners of the Sports Gala are the Spanish Basketball Team for its conquest of the European Championship or Betis for the Copa del Rey.
