Arda Turana former player of Atlético de Madrid and fc Barcelona, among other clubs, and a former international in Turkey, will begin his career as a coach at the helm of Eyüpspor, from the silver category of his country.
Turan, 36, announced his retirement as a footballer in September after not renewing at Galatasaray, where he built most of his career and where he returned after a spell at Istanbul Basaksehir.
Now he will take over the reins of a solid candidate for promotion to the Turkish Super League, because Eyüpspor is currently in third place with 57 points, same as Rizespor, nine behind the leader, Samsunspor, although they have added just one win and one draw in their last five games.

$(“.twitter-tweet”).closest( “span” ).append(x);
});
His main challenge is to reverse this bad dynamic and directly achieve promotion as one of the first two classified in a squad that includes players such as Dutch winger Ryan Babbel (formerly of Deportivo de La Coruña and Liverpool), Turkish internationals Umut Bulut and Ömer Bayrat, Brazilian Luccas Claro and Venezuelan Yonathan Del Valle.
