Luis Rubiales, before the draw, received today in Ciudad del Fútbol de Las Rozas the four semifinalist teams of the Copa del Reina. The president of the Spanish Football Federation informed that the final of this tournament, which will be played from May 23 to 27 in Butarque, the Leganés field, is the “first Spanish competition match in which the VAR service is used, thus reinforcing the commitment to the professionalization of national female referees”.
The organizers of this ‘final four’ to be played between Athletic, Alhama, Real Madrid and Atlético de Madrid also plan to hold “a great recreational-sports party that will feature a top-level musical performance before the match for in the title, scheduled for Saturday May 27 at 10 pm and that will be offered by TVE”.
The participating clubs in this final stage of the Cup have agreed, on the other hand, that for the medal delivery ceremony the same protocol will be followed as will be applied in the Cup final on May 6 in La Cartuja between Real Madrid and Osasuna. “The captains will go up to the box of authorities to accept the trophies, while the medals will be delivered to the delegates of the finalists so that they can be easily distributed to the players,” they specified.
The semifinals will be held on Tuesday, May 23 and Wednesday, May 24, at 9:00 pm, and ticket prices will be between 10 and 15 euros. The final can be seen live with tickets from 20 euros.
