His entry coincided with a drop in pressure from Barcelona on Real’s goal, who responded timidly and closed the gap to an own goal by Patri with an unfortunate rebound after Real’s right-wing play, creating a danger on the side of Nuria Rábano.

Sporting and Villarreal added a point allowing both clubs to stay out of relegation with just two days to go in the competition. In the first half both teams were imprecise and showed nerves typical of the situation. The locals went from less to more, and the clearest occasion was on Edgren’s boots in a one-on-one that Carbonell stopped. After the restart, Sheila Guijarro, always determined, put the visitors ahead (69′). Again, the ‘groguetes’ struggled to maintain a favorable result and Ana Carol sealed the tie a few minutes later (74′) after finishing a corner kick with her head. The Huelva team had many chances from set pieces to win the match, but the score did not move any further and, although it was a bittersweet result for both teams in not adding 3 points, they remain two points from relegation.

The first half started with Levante setting the tone for the game. The locals started to accumulate arrivals, especially with Mayra Ramírez and Alba Redondo, who had their first chances in the match. Enith avoided the goal with a shot from Redondo. With the granotas getting the better of them, Maca Portales put the ‘ché’ team ahead on their first arrival, taking advantage of Antonia’s mistake. Sánchez Vera’s men never stopped looking for a goal; Tatiana Pinto mistimed a goal and cleared the defense, and a minute later, María Méndez scored her first goal of the season from a set piece to turn the tables on the scoreboard. The locals had several chances to go ahead at half time, but were unable to convert their scoring opportunities. In the second half, Levante were more gray and, despite the fact that they had chances to finish the match, they were not as clear as those in the first half. Valencia’s lines advanced and, with the Granotas physically tired, they came close to scoring a second goal. In the end, the match ended 1-1 and the Granotas were able to celebrate qualifying for the Champions League in front of their fans. Meanwhile, Valencia added a new point to end the season on a positive note.
