Midfielder Sergio Lozano was delighted with his signing for Levante until 2026 and remembered that this is his home, as he was trained in the lower categories of the Valencian team until twelve years ago he went to Villarreal.
“Levante is my home, from the first day I said yes. I spoke to my family and they were happy, they told me not to think about it or anything and that Levante was the first choice,” he told the club’s official media.
The Valencian midfielder recalled how he celebrated promotion to the First Division when he was a Levante academy player in 2010 and is determined to achieve the same milestone next season.
“It was great and the promotion day was one of the best and we hope that this year we will reach our goal. We will fight every day for that goal that escaped them at the last minute and we will give everything,” he said.
“I’m very pleased and happy and looking forward to it,” remarked the player, who thanked the trust of coach Javi Calleja, with whom he already met at Villarreal.
“I’ve talked to him, I’m very happy that he’s the coach because he’s been a very important piece in my career,” he concluded.
