Hindley: “I’m beaten, but I’m happy with the yellow”

“I just tried to make my own race and if I can pass the two big favorites I will do it in the best way. I tried, but they broke me at 4 km at the top of the Tourmalet,” he said. “Jumbo set a very strong pace in the Tourmalet and the last few kilometers were very difficult. They knew they were going to do something crazy. I just got into the right position and started again, I held on for dear life and did the best I could, ” he commented.
