All this is good news for Pello Bilbao, the last Spaniard to win a stage of the Tour de France almost six years later. After proclaiming himself champion in the tenth episode of tour, the team Bahrain Victorious Team, where he has been active since 2020, has announced that the Basque cyclist will continue to be associated with them for the next three seasons, until 2026.
Professional runner since 2011, coat brings a wealth of experience along with notable achievements in Giro d’Italia and Tour de France, while achieving good results overall, where he finished fifth in Turn around twice and ninth in Tour de France in 2021.
The cyclist spoke to the media of the club where his contract extension was considered, Bilbao hair commented: “I am delighted to extend my contract with Team Bahrain Victorious. In recent years, I felt like a part of this family. I am in a place where I receive full support from my teammates and staff, and I look forward to contributing to the team’s future successes.”
He Managing Director, Milan Erzen, also expressed his happiness for the extension of Hair Bilbao: “We are delighted that Pello has extended his contract with us. His dedication and exceptional performance made him an invaluable rider for the team.
