To Paris 2024 in the rhythm of Break dance

The second Olympic Games of the modern era were organized by Paris from May 14 to October 28, 1900. The tests took place over a period of five months. There is no opening or closing ceremony. The athletes who participated did not know at any time that they were games and they were not called the Olympic Games.

997 athletes from 24 countries participated and among them, 22 women for the first time in a -Games. Of the 477 contested tests, the IOC recognized only 95. Among them, three sports (Basque pelota, cricket and croquet) and some events such as the long jump on horseback and swimming with obstacles, the only appeared in history in the Olympic park. …

Next year, 2024, Paris will once again host a high-level, spectacular and participatory Olympic Games with the public. In the previous games, Tokyo 2020, new disciplines were added: 3v3 basketball, surfing, skateboarding and climbing. Now, in Paris, break dancing will also move between the Olympic rings to attract a younger audience.

Break Dance combines technique, creativity, perseverance, passion. 32 athletes, 16 B-women and 16 B-men from around the world will attend the Games. To do this, they have to pass tests and qualify for three competitions around the world.
