Englishmen Sam Horsfield and Dale Whitnell and the German Matty Schmidwith 134 total shots (8 under par), make up the new trio of players in the lead after the second day at the Soudal Open, a DP World Tour golf tournament played until Sunday at the Rinkven International club in Antwerp.
Horsfield Y Whitnellboth 69 on the second day, stays in front and is now accompanied by Schmid, world number 223 and author this Friday of a great round of 64 shots (7 under par) with up to eight birdies for a bogey that allowed him to win 44th position in the classification. German eliminated English also in the top trio Callum Shinkwin.
Campillo and Elvira, two shots away
This trio surpassed the duo formed by another Englishman, Richard Mansell, and the Portuguese Ricardo Santos; and in two of a group of nine players including the best Spaniards, the player from Cáceres Jorge Campillo and Nacho Elvira from Santander.
Campillo showed a card of 67 hits (-4) and Elvira signed one of 70 (-1).
They will also play on the weekend Adrian Otaegui march with -4, Alvaro Quiros and Santiago Tarrio with -2; Y Carlos Pigem, Alejandro Cañizares and Ángel Hidalgo (-1).

The second day on Antwerp had another great opponent, the Ukrainian Lev Grinbergwho, at 14 years, six months and six days, became the second youngest player to hit a European circuit tournament, just behind the Chinese. Guan Tian-langwho made it in 2013 with 14 years and 169 days on Masters, in Augusta. On Thursday he made 70 hits (-1) and this Friday he signed 69 (-2) for three down total.
