Adam Yates’ UAE team finally finished in 5th 34 seconds after the Briton, the other headliner of this Vuelta a Burgos, had to slow down in the last kilometer to keep George Bennett on his wheel, as each team must bring at least four runners to the finish line.
In the general classification, the Hungarian Attila Walter This is done with the leader’s jersey. He was classified in the same second as Roglic, Jan Tratnik and Koen Bouwman, but finished better (24th), during the sprint finish of the first stage on Tuesday.
The third stage will leave, this Thursday, from the town of Sargentes de la Lora and arrive in Villarcayo.
It is marked by mountains and the many passes that the cyclists have to climb, among them, the Picón Blanco in the third category, so it is possible to see a very interesting stage in the escape and fight for the mountain jersey.
