Guinea international striker Sory Kaba has joined UD Las Palmas for the next four seasons after agreeing a transfer with Denmark’s FC Midtjylland, as reported by the island club on Thursday, who this season will play in LaLiga EA Sports. According to island media, UD will pay close to 3 million euros, including variables.
Kaba, born on July 28, 1995 in Conakry (Guinea) “is a classic center forward, recognized for his ability to play with his back, physical size and outstanding ability as a finisher,” said the Gran entity Canaria in its note.
In 2016, the player joined Elche Ilicitano, making his debut in the white and green first team in May 2017. During his time at Elche, he played 64 games, added 3,959 minutes and scored 24 goals.
Kaba, international with Guinea on 21 occasions -three goals- decided to take a new turn in his career in 2019 by joining FC Midtjylland, a club in the Danish Super League, where he played 109 games, which with 7,100 minutes and 27 goals.
On 31 August 2021, he went on loan to Oud-Heverlee Leuven until the end of the season. After this was completed, he returned to Denmark and in January 2023 he was again loaned to Cardiff City FC.
