Holy shit, goals and talent for West Ham

Date:

West Ham, who surprisingly finished second in the Premier League behind Manchester City after the first three days, announced the signing of a goalscorer on Sunday. The Ghanaian striker Mohammed Kudus arrived from Ajax and became the third reinforcement for david moyes after two ways, the Mexican Edson Álvarez and James Warrd-Prowse, and the central Konstantinos Mavropanos.

Like Álvarez, who cost him 38 million euros, Kudus arrived in London from Ajax and in his case West Ham, according to the English media, disbursed 43 million fixed plus two of the variables. Sign for five seasons.

Despite his youth, Kudus is one of the promising scorers in Europe as shown by 27 goals scored in 87 games who argued with Ajax because in the summer of 2020 he came to Amsterdam from Nordsjaelland.

Farewell to Ajax with a ‘hat trick’

Last Thursday he almost qualified Ajax for the group stage of the Europa League with his hat trick against Bulgarian Ludogorets in the first leg of the last qualifying round (1-4). Kudus participated in the World Cup in Qatar 2022 and scored twice in Ghana’s 3-2 group stage win over South Korea.

“I’ve dreamed of playing in a league like this since I was a kid,” confessed Kudus, who will wear the number 14 shirt at West Ham, in his signing statement. “I dreamed of this moment and I’m so happy to be here. But it won’t stop here, I want to continue.”

The arrival of Kudus comes after the vacancy left at the beginning of the Italian month Gianluca Scamacca with his march to Atalanta.
