Grassroots football takes center stage

Grassroots football is at the center all weekend. Athletic, in collaboration with the Basque and Vizcaya Federations, is launching a Non-League Day on Saturday and Sunday, a “social initiative” aimed at highlighting the importance of youth clubs and encouraging attendance at local fields. This event takes place in conjunction with a weekend with no league competition.

Athletic is the first LaLiga club to undertake this initiative, already established in England.
