The Nigerian defense Ashleigh Plumptre signed for him Al-Ittihad of the Saudi Women’s Premier League after her contract with City of Leicester. Plumptre, 25, has played 15 international matches for Nigeria although he played for England as a youth player.
“Grateful to sign for Al-Ittihad,” Plumptre said on messaging platform X, formerly known as Twitter. “I’m excited to start this journey with incredible people. My journey to deepen myself continues… It’s more than just football.”
