UD Las Palmas: anyone who plays in the yellow team doesn’t do it for the money

UD Las Palmas has managed to configure a squad where three factors are mixed: ego equal to the grass, defense of the Canarian colors and empathy with the management of the club’s industry and sport. It is formed with players who, knowing that they can earn more in gold clubs, prefer to enter or stay in yellow discipline sacrificing his professional cache.

LaLiga has set Unión Deportiva Las Palmas a salary cap of 35.18 million euros, triple what it had at the start of the year in the Second Division (12.19 million), but it is still second lowest in the category.

LaLiga made public on Thursday the Sports Squad Cost Limits (LCPD) for the 2023-2024 season, with Barcelona seeing its figure reduced from 683,462 million in February to 270,026 million euros this September.

According to data presented by Javier Tebas, president of LaLiga, and Javier Gómez, corporate general director of the same, in LaLiga EA, Real Madrid (727,451), Cádiz (49,276), Mallorca (60,951), Valencia (85,528), Celta de Vigo (79,887), Rayo Vallecano (51,535), Girona (47,585) and the promoted Alavés (31,278), Granada (47,585) and Las Palmas (35,188).
