The National Police has arrested and brought to justice this Thursday the Barcelona footballer Arnau Puigmalcurrently active at Unión Deportiva Almería, for driving with a unapproved card from another country.
The midfielder was taken in a police van to the City of Justice of Almería, due to a request from Catalonia that was notified to him in the Investigative Court number 4 of Almería, judicial sources told EFE.
According to sources consulted, the request is motivated by a possible crime against road safety, because the footballer used a driver’s license issued abroad which would not be valid in Spain.
In this sense, they add to that even It remains to be seen if the Prosecutor’s Office will accuse the player or if, on the contrary, the matter is resolved only with an administrative sanction.
