Minjee Lee won the BMW Ladies of Seoul in the play off and Ciganda finished 34th

Australian Minjee Lee (-16) achieved this Sunday at Seoul the tenth victory of his career at LPGA Tour after defeating the American in a tiebreaker Alison Lee (-16) within BMW Ladies Championshipin the homeland of the winner’s parents.

The American managed to tie with two holes remaining and take the tournament into a playoff, but there the experience of the double Grand Slam winner was stronger to take the title with a birdie on the first extra hole.

New Zealander Lydia Ko (-14)defending champion, and invited by the organization, fought to make the playoff but a bogey on the 15th hole left him ‘dry’ although he battled to the end to make two final birdies and finish alone in third.

Carlota Ciganda (-5) He was 34th after a 70 which was not good enough for his comeback aspirations. The Spaniard started with a birdie, bogeys on 8 and 10, signed four birdies from 11 to 17 and left with a bad taste in his mouth with a bogey on 18.
