A 45-year-old rider, a resident of Arévalo (Ávila), lost his life this Sunday at the “Mx Los Patos” motocross circuit.from the small Avila town of San Esteban de los Patos, located about 17 kilometers north of the capital.
The incident occurred at 10:52 amwhen a call to the Emergency Service 112 of Castilla y León requested the presence of the Guardia Civil in this circuit where, starting at 11:00, the IX Los Patos MX Motocross Trophy will be held.
The whistleblower indicated that one of the test participants, a man about 45 years old, had an accident before the start of the competition and the doctor, who was present at the scene, confirmed his death.
At that moment, the 112 operations room notified the Civil Guard and Sacyl, for information purposes.
At 11:00 am the last test of the motocross season is scheduled to begin in the province of Ávila and the one that closed the Castilla y León Championship in the categories MX 85 cubic centimeters, Master, Classic 80, Pre 84 and Pre 96.
The trophy, which has been suspended, was contested by 42 pilots in all categories.
