Bristol beat West Ham and Wolves beat Brentford

Date:

The play-off matches of the 3rd Round of the FA Cup also gave a big surprise such as the elimination of West Ham in the hand of City of Bristol (1-0), Championship team (English Second Division).

The game did not start particularly well for David Moyes’ men and Conway surprised Fabianski after 3 minutes. And although West Ham had most of the possession, in the second half they suffered another heavy blow after Benrahma reacted after a nasty tackle and fouled Williams, who also did his part.

The other Premier League team to say goodbye is Brentfordeven if his rival is one of his same category as the Wolverhampton (3-2). Gary O’Neil’s men changed the score in extra time after scoring goals from Collins (13′) and Maupay (52′) thanks to goals from Semedo (36′), Fraser (72′) and Cunha (105′).

The remaining matches ended as follows: Birmingham (Stansfield 66′ and Miyoshi 93′) 2-1 City of Hull (Lokilo, 12′), Bolton Wanderers (Charles 11′) 1-2 Town of Luton (Chong 15′ and Ogbene 57′) and Eastleigh (McCallum 48′) 1-2 Newport County (Wildig 3′, Clarke 60′ and Evans 79′).
