This weekend we celebrate Spanish Short Track Championshipa competition that is in its 60th edition and will be the prelude to the two main international events that end the winter track season: the final of the World Athletics Indoor Tour Gold in Madrid and the World Indoor Track Championships in Glasgow.
The Championship will take place in the Galician city of Ourenseon the covered track Exposurewhich is hosting this event for the third time in the last 5 years (2020, 2022 and 2024).
The most prominent figures of Spanish athletics will be present at this event. Maribel Perez and Jaël-Sakura Bestué They will star in an interesting generational duel in the 60m. Paula Seville will be looking for his fifth title in the 200m, while Daniel Rodríguez will be looking for a sixth title in the men’s category.
