The French president, Emmanuel Macron inaugurated this Thursday the Olympic Villa of the Paris Games, a construction that he considered “exemplary”, so much for its environmental character as for its proposal to welcome athletes and to become “un example of the city of the future”.
“You can be proud. Habéis cumplido las promesas, tanto de plazos como de presupeso“, assured the president before a group of workers who, during four years, raised the 82 housing blocks in which about 14,500 athletes will live during the Olympic and Paralympic Games next summer.

Buildings of the future
The president assured that the Villa Olímpica will inspire the sector in the next few years, both for the way it has fulfilled the environmental and social objectives, with four times fewer labor accidents than in a normal work, as for the heritage that will be left for the future
“Here we see the buildings that will be built in 2040, capable of withstanding the climatic conditions of 2050, both cold and hot“, said the head of the State about the system of geothermal energy and natural refrigeration with which it has been endowed to the constructions.
También destacó la innovation en los materials utilizados, que han permitido reducir un 47 % las misesiones contaminantes durante la construcción, pero que han servido de “laboratorio” para aplicaloro en el futuro.
