Rosa Kafaji20, recently became the most expensive signing in Swedish football history when he signed for his current team: Hack (Gothenburg). Today, the attacking midfielder, with an interesting and difficult story behind him, is in the orbit of real Madrid. According to Nordic media, there could be a move this summer.
According to ‘Expressen’, Kafaji, whose priority will be FC Barcelona, can change the scene and end up in League F, specifically in Real Madrid. In Sweden they are half resigned, although they are not giving up hope that the Swedish international, whose contract expires in June, will end up accepting a renewal offer.
“I am positive, without a doubt. We are talking, but we have not come to an agreement yet. And if she signs a new contract with us, that will avoid a possible transfer. If a bigger club wants to sign her, the money is there, they are like that in women’s football. They can pay for whatever is needed,” said Christian Lundström, the team’s coach.
“Häcken has not set a fixed price for Rosa Kafaji, but hopefully there will be a bidding war. Depending on his level, we expect good money, of course. We have not yet received a concrete offer, but the clubs know how much she would cost. We would like to keep her next season and, as I said, we hope to agree on a new contract,” he added.
Christian Lundström sees no limits for it if it continues to develop at the same pace. “He can play in one of the best teams, but I think it’s important that he goes to a club that fits his style of play. You have to be careful with that. The best thing is that he plays in midfield, up front of the defensive line,” he added.
