The transmission of the investigation to Rome took place after last September the Supreme Court declared the incompetence of the Turin territory, which ordered to send the facts to the Roman prosecutors of the group, coordinated by the deputy prosecutor Giuseppe Cascini.
‘Prisma’ research for the years 2020 and 2021
Under the name of the ‘Prisma Investigation’, the authorities have been investigating two different movements of Juventus for several years, distinguishing between possible tax fraud or false accounts in the financial years of 2020 and 2021 , and the alleged generation of capital gains in various transactions with other clubs.
For that last movement, capital gains, Juventus was allowed 15 fewer points in the last season of the League, although the penalty was annulled after being welcomed by the College of Guarantees of the Italian Olympic Committee (CONI ) the appeal of the club.
The then management team of Juventus, of which Agnelli was the leader, resigned en masse in November 2022 due to the investigations of the Prosecutor’s Office, which caused an earthquake throughout the country.
