According to the regulations, teams in the top category of women’s football must play their matches on natural grass fields, but Levante Badalona has obtained a moratorium, so they will play their matches at the Nou Estadi Municipal, currently made of artificial grass. It is expected that, on December 4, the implementation of natural grass will begin. It is expected that by mid-January both the Badalona Third Federation first team and Levante Badalona will be training on the new grass.
There are also plans to build a ring around the Nou Municipal which will increase its capacity by 4,000 more people. Work will begin within a year.
